In many cities across this nation or around the world there is something unique and specific to that place. So much so that they are know by the uniqueness. Maybe it’s a festival, or a landmark, or the birthplace of a famous person, it could be a host of various things. Community of Faith

Community of Faith

In many conversations with folks I have often said that my hearts desire is to see our Community become a Community of Faith. People will look at me strange when I make such a statement. I’d like to explain very briefly what I mean.

Regardless of the worlds various ethnicities, religions, sects, denominations, cults, divisions, just almost anyway you can possibly be divided into a “specialist” group of people good or bad, Jesus speaks of only two groups. The Adoption Project

Last year, in September our core family group experimented with an adoption project. Several months prior God really pressed on me about some specific geographic areas in our community. These are areas that may be below poverty level, or drug infested areas, apartments, and low income housing. One day I just got in the car and said, “Ok Lord this is your game, take me where I need to go.” Amazingly enough within about an hour He had identified six different areas! Later on, in August I believe, I rolled it out to our core families and they totally loved the idea! They got on board and we did our first community adoption in September.
