Bi-Vocational war within!

Most of you guys don’t know me, but I hope as I continue to blog that we will come to know one another and hopefully network with another. I posted a comment on Ron Edmondson’s site this morning on blogging and I wrote in that comment that I was pretty sure if I write what is on my heart that I will be happy and hopeful that others may get the same joy and fulfillment.

So, here goes, I have to be just straight up honest with you guys, I really struggle within my spirit about being bi-vocational. Valentines for a City

“Paint the Town Red” is what we called it. How often do the churches serve the towns and cities in which they reside? Some probably do, but more often than not they don’t. So this year we decided to do just that! On Valentines Day we hit the streets!

This week volunteers have been working like crazy cutting out hearts with inspirational but practical messages on one side and “Paint the Town Red” on the other. There was also a whole lot of balloons blown up with messages written on them as well. Continue reading “Valentines for a City” »
