V-Day…Paint the Town!

Every once and a while someone has a brilliant idea! I may be a bit over zealous here, but I LOVE THE CHURCH and I LOVE MY TEAM! These guys came up with a really cool idea that I want to share with all of you. Even though we are doing this in our town, we are hoping you will do it in your town too!

“Paint the town Red” is a movement to show how much we love and support our community. V-day doesn’t have to be about showing a “special” someone you care because that should be taking place every day anyways–this day can also be a day to really say “thank you” to all those who work really hard in our community.

Soul’dout Steps Up!

One of the things that I have heard Pastors say over and over in the average church in America is that they wished they could get their youth to step up to the plate. In the very successful churches we see the youth stepping up in a big way! What’s the difference?

I think one of the biggest differences is that the average church chooses to teach only. This generally fails because the church says, “we want to teach you, not empower you”.
