Valentines for a City
“Paint the Town Red” is what we called it. How often do the churches serve the towns and cities in which they reside? Some probably do, but more often than not they don’t. So this year we decided to do just that! On Valentines Day we hit the streets!
This week volunteers have been working like crazy cutting out hearts with inspirational but practical messages on one side and “Paint the Town Red” on the other. There was also a whole lot of balloons blown up with messages written on them as well. Continue reading “Valentines for a City” »
5 things a Jesus follower should do!
It’s funny how doing a relationship series brings to life so many other facets of your life. One that I am really trying hard to focus on is being the light of the world and not the lampshade. What I mean is, sometimes Christians seem to look like the most miserable people in the world, yet they have the most to celebrate and don’t. Why is that? If we are to be the light, we should be positively presenting the world with a smile on our face all that God has done for us!
