Teaching without Applying is dead

Just as faith without works is dead, teaching without applying is useless!

For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. (James 2:26 KJV)

Application of what we learn is big on the list, at least for me, and I believe for our church. To a degree, it is one of the noticeable differences about how we do ministry! Rather than just teach the scripture and leave you with it, we totally desire to help apply what we learn in our daily walk. Actually doing life TOGETHER as we strive to live by the principals we learn from God’s word.

What are we known for?

In many cities across this nation or around the world there is something unique and specific to that place. So much so that they are know by the uniqueness. Maybe it’s a festival, or a landmark, or the birthplace of a famous person, it could be a host of various things. Judging or Discipling, What about you?

Judging

I am probably my worst critic! It is true. No one really knows except those closest to me how much time I spend evaluating myself in everything I do. For example, I may watch the tape from a Sunday message two or three different times during a week, to see how I can improve and be a better speaker and presenter of Gods word practically and “real worldly”.
