Getting Real!

One of the things that God has been doing through the last two series at Crossover is challenging me and His people to get real about our walk in Jesus Christ! The Gathering Storm!

One of the greatest and most prominent things we can do as Christians and fellow Jesus followers is really begin to develop a biblical world view of the issues that unfold in front of our very eyes every day in the world we live in. We must be vigilant in guarding against a political or news media world view and always be prepared to seek biblical authority in light of what is happening!

We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. 2Co 10:5

The Hardest Greatest Responsibility

There is something that I consider very difficult and hard to do. Yet this same something is vitally necessary to the spiritual growth and maturity of the church and should be considered one of the greatest responsibilities we are entrusted with as Servants of Jesus Christ.

The hardest greatest responsibility is church discipline. It is often misunderstood and creates rifts in the church and the communities in which we live, however that is generally a result of the way and intent with which it is carried out.
